Does anyone know of any special considerations involved in selecting individual updates from ...\Modules\Critical, ...\Modules\NonCritical and ...\Modules\Components? I would probably use the nLite 'Add Hotfixes' feature to integrate the updates.

I know there are other sources for Hotfixes, but a quick look suggests I could just take what I need from AP rather than using separate tools. Also, I have more confidence in the quality with AP than with other tools.

Thank you to anyone who can provide any AP specific insight here.

Can't think of anything much, but you will have to copy the updates not move them, otherwise APUP will notice that they have gone "missing" on its next run. Even if you are working with a slipstreamed OS by then.

That's because APUP always downloads direct from Microsoft AND verifies the download. Every update is verified automatically and (as far as I know) AP is the only product that does this. Thanks for the confidence in AP!
