Hello.

I have been using AP for a long time to update the machines of friends and family and I was sad to see it shut down by MS. I recently decided to check in things at AP dot com and was glad to see things are up and running again. I thought I would try running the new AP on a clean install I was doing for a co-worker. I have SP2 slip-streamed disks(XP Pro, Home, Dell, etc.) that I use to install windows, then I normally use AP to finish things up. So....

I ran AP after checking the appropriate download boxes, but no SP3 option is shown once I run AP.

After reading various posts around here I am wondering...do I have to have windows patched/slip-streamed to SP3 before any updates will show? If not, how do I use AP to update the SP2 slipstream to SP3 level?

Thanks in advance.

Hi jason.h
I'm glad to see that you've re-discovered AutoPatcher!

In a word -- yes!

You will need to re-slipstream all your disks to SP3, or install SP3 on its own, before running AutoPatcher since we no longer maintain updates for SP2.

Thanks James.

I will start re-slipstreaming the disks all over again to SP3.
