ya... something like that. I worked thanks giving morning(10P day before to 6am thanksgiving morning)... and got ZERO sleep for well over 24 hours since sleeping during thanksgiving is impossible. Soon as I could... I slept 14 hours.

A small amendment before moving it to the main page.
It concerns the rootsupdate apm(KB931125)
As it reads now..

[General]
Title=Update for Root Certificates 04/2012 (KB931125)

needs to be edited to
[General]
Title=Update for Root Certificates 11/2012 (KB931125)

My bad on that forgot to change the date(month)...

Wish I could do something with it... can't upload or download crap right now. Wireless routers are such pieces of crap. They ALL die after 1 year.

anyways.... why did you post this in the xp x86 thread?

There is no thread for the common modules....seemed a likely candidate to get noticed.

A suggestion then...need a Common Modules thread to post when it gets updated and for users to comment upon.

just checked and the official update for Root Certificates For Windows XP [December 2012] (KB931125) http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=35945 is the same as what I previously mentioned for November. All that needs to be changed is the Update Title in the apm and the download link http://download.micr...01/rootsupd.exe in the script

Checked the download locations for the root certificates and both the one that was provided by click-click in November and one posted here by click-click are both valid download locations.

True, but I would suggest using the official one. The one I posted a while back may no longer be valid in the near future.

After downloading with APUP, AP no longer shows official for me. It might be a good idea to supply an md5 file now that the structure has changed. Seems like the script missed deleting some apms from the old structure.

I had to manually remove the following to get official.

delete windows_noncritical.apm (in \modules\)
delete __msxml directory (in \modules\Components\)
delete __msxml .apm (in \modules\Components\)
delete euFontUpdate.apm_files directory (in \modules\NonCritical\)
delete euFontUpdate.apm (in \modules\NonCritical\)
delete WindowsXP-KB2756822-x86-ENU.exe (in \modules\Windows XP x86\Non Critical\Non Critical_files\)

It looks like Recommended Updates has bee replaced by Non-Critical Updates. Any reason for keeping the Recommended Updates section since there is no longer anything in it?

Just a small nit, but IMHO the section titles should remain consistent by either removing or adding Microsoft in the titles. Right now it's a mixed bag.

Spoiler

Timezone update KB2732052 in Non-critical should be removed from the script since it has been replaced by KB2779562.

Disable Default Hidden Administrative Shares in Microsoft Security Tweaks does not appear when running AP.

DisableAdminShares_x86_enu.apm
WindowsVersion=XP_XP3_X86 should be WindowsVersion=XP_X86

Also noticed AP entries for JournalViewer_x86.apm and winmsgr_x86_enu.apm are not appearing. I have not looked into it yet as to why. It was this way with the old structure too.

Edit:
I forgot that I had included WebFolders and JournalViewer in my AP blacklist file which keeps AP from displaying these entries since I don't have these installed.

FYI

KB959426 should be removed from \Windows XP x86\Critical\ and the XP script for December.
It has been replaced by KB2758857.

Timezone update KB2657025 in \Windows XP x86\Non Critical\ should also be removed since it has been replaced by KB2779562.

Thanks for the heads up click-click.....am currently editing the script and associated directories to delete these and will forward these up the chain of command.
