There are two ways to turn off sweeper:
First ... go to options if you are using the latest apup and de-select sweeper
Second -- a little more work ... edit your apup ini.... EnableSweeper=1 ....to EnableSweeper=0

Check mark in box: Security Update for IE for Windows XP (KB2799329) - why? Becuase next item - in blue -is:

Has same KB number but diffferent versions of IE not being correctly identified? (I have 8 installed here.)

The update you refer to DesertJerry is a noncritical one and may only be applicable to a small portion of our community... a little reading and this update is for "Israel and Libya time zone update for Windows operating systems"

After quite a bit of research and sole searching have re-instated KB2798897 (rvkroots) in the Windows XP x86 script as well done the out of cycle update mentioned by DesertJerry ready for the February release of Patch Tuesday.
If there are no errors reported then can assume all is well for the release and will request to ViroMan to sign and move it to the main page...The same with Windows XP x64 as well.

AutoPatcher for Windows XP SP3 (x86)(STD)
The .rti in the script does not exist on the server.
Also, KB2794119 replaced KB2779562, so you should remove KB2779562
KB2797052 replaced KB2544521 (should be removed)
KB2802968 replaced KB2476490 (should be removed)
KB2792100 replaced KB2761465 (should be removed)
Since sweeper is not yet official and relies on a correct .rti, I did not use it (good thing too). which is probably why some of these fixes are appearing. If we are going to use a different releases list, IMHO, the files there should be pretty much what will end up on the main list. Especially a valid rti to keep sweeper from erasing things it should not. It's only a matter of time before someone forgets to turn off sweeper when they should have not forgotten.
