Hi,

I have noted that APXP does not seem to install the IE7 version of this hotfix when IE7 is being installed in the same session.

I am wondering if it is possible to do this or would the OS need to be rebooted between installing IE7 and then installing the IE7 version of this hotfix?

One of the origional aims for AP was to install all of the needed updates in one pass

Hi Simon,
I think that, since IE7 requires a reboot before it is installed, it looks (from this distance) like two passes are needed.

To confirm this I would need to build a timeline of your install. You can probably do this or confirm this yourself from the timestamps of KB950757.log and the timestamps in ie7.log.

Ditto with what James said above. Any type of IE7 module will require IE7 to be installed when autopatcher.exe is ran. Since this check only occurs in the beggining, you have to restart your computer and then run autopatcher.exe. I haven't played with IE7 updates when installing IE7 but right now this isn't possible.

Perhaps in the future when the latest and greatest comes out by Raptor, we can look into this.
