I get an unofficial release warning when I run AP (not apup). How do I check for the update which failed validation? If there is no way to do so currently, perhaps a small BV script could be written to do so? Any advice would be appreciated.

I guess that you've executed apup.exe and then AutoPatcher, right? If so, there's the reason. Those new modules weren't included in the verification file (xp_core.rti). Don't worry, it's normal. When we release the next version, it will be signed as official.

That explains it. Actually, I don't have a .rti file at all :)
