APUP download lock up

Hi Folks
I'm new to APUP and have run into a download problem.
I have Win XP SP2 and downloaded the AutoPatcher Updater v1.04, set it up to run and include SP3 in the downloads. The download stopped at the messenger.msi file and that was as far as I got. Had to hit EXIT button.
Tried re runnig APUP again, the screen comes up to where the download left off at the start of downloading messenger.msi and that is where it stays.
Any suggestions please.

try run apup with /log this will save an log and allow us see what is wrong

Then you run AutoPatcher and have it list any and all updates that you need after SP3 is installed.
