Hello, I have been working with computers and have constantly always had to manually update them from SP1 all the way to SP3. Which took hours and hours. Is their anyway using AP so I can jump all the way from SP1 to SP3 with all the updates include IE7. I am very confused with this program, but I heard its promising. Can anyone tell me how to do it.
How to update from SP1 to full SP3?

Hi mivanx77
AutoPatcher has recently dropped support for XP earlier than SP3, so you will need to install SP3 first. You can go direct from SP1 to SP3. You do not need SP2.
1) Download SP3 from Microsoft and install it. Reboot.
2) Download the AutoPatcher Updater: APUP from Our Download Page
3) While you are there, download the instructions: AutoPatcher.pdf
4) Unzip APUP.ZIP to a folder. (Example: C:\AP). See Note below.
5) Run APUP.EXE to download the XP updates, the updater and the engine. These three should be pre-selected for you. You can choose other releases as well.
6) Run AutoPatcher.exe to install IE7. Reboot.
7) Run AutoPatcher.exe again to install all other updates. You choose what you want. Reboot.
Done!
Note 1: APUP currently has a problem with folders with spaces in the name, or with extended characters found in (for example) Portuguese. So don't choose a folder with spaces in the name, such as "Program Files" or your Desktop. (=Documents and Settings/.../Desktop).
We expect to fix the "spaces" problem in the next few days, but for now you have to work round it.
Note 2: You have to install IE7 before any other updates. This is a limitation caused by the way Microsoft installs IE7.
