The latest is windows-kb890830-v2.2.exe (Malicious Software Removal Tool (KB890830) v2.2) as at 09 September 2008 at Micorsoft Dowload Center.

Hi horusng

Thank you for letting us know. I would expect the MRT file to change today, as today is Patch Tuesday, when a new version of MRT comes out. Normally that is not for another half-hour or so when Microsoft officially releases its monthly Security Updates (and sometimes several hours later outside the USA as the servers round the world are updated).

Normally Microsoft leave last month's MRT on the server for several days after the new version is made available, so I'm surprised that v2.1 is no longer found.

First time I've seen Microsoft do this with any of their MRT's. Typically this is the first thing I do which version 2.2 has been updated in all the scripts.
