G'Day

I have done a download using the 1.0.0.5 build and am getting all the releases I need (XP, XP x64, Office) with no issues and can grab Vista x32 but when I grab the Vista x64 build I get the "One or more files has failed verification error". All other releases are fine.

Using the /log switch I get the following log:

Download Error: C:\Documents and Settings\James\Desktop\Autopatcher\vista_x64.rti
MD5 Hashes do NOT match. Expecting 546D0DCF7E3C3D145087E51E79C13467, but found 5745681c26b5b294422f6b098e448cc7!!!

I am Australian and my language is Australian English in all respects on a Windows XP SP3 clean build.

Any help appreciated. I am going to try it with US English as a test.

Hi Defjam

Thanks for the report.

This looks like an error in AutoPatcher's own files. Until this is fixed, AutoPatcher will run OK, but will report itself as "Unofficial". That's because the error, or mismatch, lies in AutoPatcher's security information.

This will have to wait for Erik to fix, but later on (it's about 2am at the moment where he is).

There's no need to switch languages: this is not a language problem.

Thanks James,

I tried the language change to no effect as you predicted. And there is no rush here from me, I appreciate all the hard work you guys put into the product.
