Problems Deleting Off USB Key

Guest_Hydro Flux_* 16 Sep 2008

I have been using auto-patcher on my newely installed XP Sp3 Laptop. I ran it off of my USB key, since I downloaded it off of my Vista computer. It worked fine, a little slow, but my laptop runs backwards anyways. It was sucessful, and about a week later, I went to delete the Autopatcher files off of my USB Key. It worked all except for one file, for which it repeadly give me the error in XP, "Cannot delete pstream]: The filename, directory name or volume syntax is incorrect." This is the same result on my Vista Machine, just different wording. I wanted to let you know, and after I finish this post, I am going to try to delete it in Safe Mode. Thanks, and sorry if this is already a known problem. Thanks for the help in advance, and you have made, and continue to make a great program.

probably this was the result of removing your usb key without use the windows option to safe remove. if delete this in safe mode doesn't work, try my computer, select your usb key, rightclick, tools, scandisk and select the options to fix. other option, if this doesn't help, is just copy all other things to anothr place and format the usb key. it will work too, but the option to safe remove is always the best choice
