hi

never got big problems with autopatcher / apup

but since this release im gettin this strange error

it says "einlesen hinter dateiende " in english this means (reading after eof)
and "in prjupdater.mdlgenergal.filetostring at line 108

but only sometimes when starting.
then i cant do anything to continue, but just can close the window.

Thank you for posting your log-file.

Have these problems only started happening in the last two days?
Or, have your problems started as soon as you downloaded/upgraded to APUP version 1.05?

In the last two days the server at www.autopatcher.com has not been functioning correctly. Your log-file shows that you have not been able to download the list of releases or the .ZIP or .7Z files holding the modules. These are all files held on the autopatcher.com server.

Your log-file also shows that you have a number of files which exist, but which have no contents (they have 0 bytes).

Because the server at www.autopatcher.com has not been responding for two days, this is the most likely cause of your problem.

It is also possible that the download/upgrade of apup itself has become corrupted and so the safest thing to do is to manually download apup.zip from the Download Page and unZIP this into your apup folder (P:\autopatcher). When you unZIP, please allow this to overwrite the files in P:\autopatcher and P:\autopatcher\apup_bin.

When you have the new copy of apup.exe installed, please run it again.

@james: erik did some fixes in his latest apup beta. if i'm not mistaken, he fixed some issues that we found in that one. later (about 12h from now) i will update the current version by the latest beta, hoping that this fix some issues

it seems i have fixed the problem by exiting outpost firewall 6.5.
strange behavior, but this is not the first time that outpost did those strange things, even when the application is allowed to acces the internet.
