APUP 1.05 - Modules broken or missing?

Hi,
It would seem that at sometime in the recent past the Sun Java VM installer (x86) and the NewWallPapers modules seems to have been broken from the download server(s). The Sun installer package is missing and the Newwalls folder has disappeared completely!
I have created a new AP folder with the APUP 1.05 package installed and those modules will not download correctly.
Do I need to delete everything in the AP folder and try using APUP 1.05 again from scratch (with the bandwidth costs this incurs) to get everything working again?
Does anyone actually test this package before it is released?

in fact, erik was in charge of this one. but he was a lot overloaded and he may not have tested properly all his releases. so, he felt that was needing some vacations and did it for time being. currently, we don't host java anymore. it was taking too much bandwith and we are risking to be offline. so, we still host the module, but not java installer. that must be downloaded from sunjava, also described in here:

if i'm not mistaken, we also was hosting the new walls. i believe that erik has removed those by the same reason
about this overload issue we probably will make an public call for new members shortly. but first, we need fix some issues on forum to yesterday, to avoid issues like that one that we had a few days ago

Not testing software before it's released is frankly unprofessional and I hope this will not be done in the future. At the very least it needs to be labelled as untested so we can choose to take the risks in using it or not.
You don't need to host the JavaVM; it is possible for folks to download it directly or you can use a direct link.
Again, choosing not to host files is a reasonable decision for AP to make. However people need to know what is going on!.
We are not psychic and cannot guess if there is no information to let us know!

by other side, if any releaser doesn't update his script in the early days when a new update is online, people start to blame him about that. ok, this isn't an excuse, but to say the least, we need more people to work with. many people us to think that deal with several releases at once it's pretty easy, but that takes time. so, if you take several scripts at once, you may loose your time with your family and no one wishes it. so, currently we are in process of share tasks that just one person was doing, to avoid overload to just one person. also, by the very first time since i've joined to autopatcher team, we are talking about an public call for more people and, in fact, we are in process to make this easier and safer to all parts involved. currently, we can't say more that we are deeply sorry about the issue that you had and we hope that this doesn't hapend again.

no, it is not possible, since the download links for java at sun website has an time-limit and also and bandwith limit. ok, you may say that we can point to the dynamic download link that sun provides, but that kind of download link makes apup crashes at once. so, we can't use that download link until apup get fixed to this kind of downloads or sun provides an another download link

by the way: are you running an script in offline mode?
