> AutoPatcher Updater 1.0.4
seems that you are running an old version of apup. it was updated. can you please download the latest version for apup from here:
http://www.autopatcher.com/downloads/
and extract it into the exact same folder that apup currently is? in apup 1.05, we added 7z support and the version that you are running can't deal with this format, so, a couple of issues will happend
> I also went and redownloaded the new apup from the downloads section and overwrote my existing install and still got the same result
some issue regarding your download may happened, because this isn't the md5 signature for the current version of apup. also, apup script doesn't look for download apup.zip. the file that is downloaded has another name. are you sure that isn't running an old/mixed version of the script in local mode?
> rootsupd.exe
this one was updated last night. some releases may can still hold the md5 fingerprint for the old version
also, currently isn't an good idea mix all releases, since not all scripts are updated yet. so, one script will look for an file that may have an different version of it in another one.
> Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
this OS is no longer beeing supported. SP3 is required, because the current script will remove the obsolete modules, making your OS not fully patched, due the lack of a lot of updates that are required by SP2

Hi MushroomNZ
Thank you for posting your log-file.
Your first error message and most of the errors in your log-file are caused by downloading updates for both Windows XP and Vista at the same time, when these were being updated on AutoPatcher's server. At the time you ran APUP, Windows XP was updated but Vista was not.
Your second error message means that you have set to Read-Only a file that APUP needs to update. Pleade check that none of the files in the folder C:\Downloads\apup are Read-Only.
If any of the following files exist in C:\Downloads\apup, please delete them:
releases.list
apup.script
apengine.script
autopatcher_vista_x86.script
autopatcher_xp_x86_enu.script
autopatcher_directx.script
autopatcher_dotnet.script
autopatcher_addons.script
autopatcher_off_addon_enu.script
autopatcher_off_07_glb.script
autopatcher_off_03_enu.script
autopatcher_off_02_enu.script
autopatcher_offsp_07_enu.script
When you have done all that, please run APUP again.
