Hi,

I have a dozen of updates from microsoft for vista but to my luck i only have a dialup connection <_< . I have to download all the updates from office bcoz autopatcher is banned by microsoft ( Who the hell do they think to ban autopatcher  ). Well for now my main intent of starting the topic is .. Is there any way that i can install all the updates that i have downloaded in one single click or a few clicks? just like autopatcher.. is there any software???

Just to let you guys know i dont know anythin much about programming  ... All i know is to click and use apps . If anyone can help me out i would appreciate it

Regards

Well, wile we don't release any version, you can try using a CMD script, something like "xxxxxxxx.msu /quiet /norestart", were xxxx is the file name. Note, i didn't try that because I don't have here a new version of Windows Vista.

Hi Renato,

I really appreciate you tellin me this command script but.. as iam just a newbee in terms of comp tech where should i put that command? I have autopatcher core 07 and i tried that module installer and it did nothing. If i need to put the command in dos i can rather click on each update and choose not to restart.. Well the point is i wanted to create a installer similar to autopather which though may not give me options like autopather does but does the same job of autopatcher

Regards

You're asking for AutoPatcher, that's for sure! :D
Just wait some more time and we will release new versions of AutoPatcher. Just a bit more patience.

After MS shut down the old method the AP team is working hard on one that does not violate MS copyrights. It's still in pre-beta, but it's coming along well.

The Vista release is not my priority right now, because we aren't far away from Vista SP1. But When I have some time (after taking care of other versions), I'll re-start doing it.

The new system is just the new method of downloading AutoPatcher. Instead of using bittorrent or one of the plethora of mirrors, one can just use apup instead!
