hello there
i have downloaded and used autopatcher for XP (sp3) and it worked great, however now if i run it again, it downloads again the SAME updates and he wants to apply the very same patches that were applied before, like he does not recognize what has just been installed, why does this happen? how am i supposed to keep this up to date if he always wants to download and install the same stuff over and over? i tried it twice after the first installation (yes i ran the installer after the first download), everything worked operating system has been updated (i see new features and stuff)
thanks
gabrio

Hi gabrio81,
Welcome!
Please can you give some more information, so that I can better understand your problem.
Please can you separate what happens when you run apup.exe, from what happens when you run autopatcher.exe:
apup.exe does the downloading.
autopatcher.exe does the installing
If you move apup.exe to a new folder, or put a second copy in a new folder, it will always download everything again. If you never move apup.exe and never move autopatcher.exe this should not happen. When you run autopatcher.exe again it will show already installed updates in blue.

after install some updates, you may be required to reboot. after this, run autopatcher.exe again, because some will show up just after some update be already there, like the ie7 and wmp11 updates. it's an small list, don't worry
