Hi,
Is there a way to select all of the patches that are not already installed -- to select only what is needed in a particular category? For example, under the Recommended Updates section, a way to select all of the updates that are not installed. Otherwise, I have to either check the entire category and then uncheck what is not needed or individually select the updates that are needed.
Also, while testing the AutoPatcher on an XP SP3 clean install VM, AutoPatcher installed the Media Player 10 updates even though I had selected Media Player 11 to be installed. If a newer version of an add-on (like Media Player 11), can the patches for the previous version be deselected or skipped automatically?
One last thought...possibly a way to have updates that cannot be installed on reboot to be installed automatically during the next bootup. I have done some scripting with patches to do this before and it works well...though sometimes it requires an additional reboot afterward.
Thanks,
Budman

only to select the recomended updates. for that, you need run autopatcher like this:
autopatcher /nolicence /neverselectinstalled /recomended
but you also can save an answer file and do the same thing, then, you will be able to unselect all updates that you don't wanna install (like those for wmp10) and run fine anyway

no. at the time that you started autopatcher, the software detects your system and learn that you have wmp10. so, autopatcher will show you all the updates for wmp10. if you select to install wmp11, autopatcher only will learn that after wmp11 be installed and currently, we don't have any way to add an "if this is selected, unselect that"

only if you add an runonce option. since you can run autopatcher from anyware, that can't be done
