Using Vista Home Premium x64 and latest AP.

Everything else will install, but the following screenshot is what has happened 4x after running AP:

Hi,

From the screenshot, that's all critical updates from June 2008 and later.

Can you please confirm that KB938371 (v2) in the Recommended updates section is installed?
If not, please install KB938371, reboot, try to install the critical updates again, reboot again.

I cannot see any obvious error in AutoPatcher's files (scripts/APMs).
Did you install Service Pack 1 from Windows Update, or by downloading the stand-alone package?

Confirmed that KB938371 (v2) is installed.

I installed Vista SP1 by the stand alone installer. And yes, I bought (er, paid for a license for) Vista.

Frustrating.

Ok, feeling really stupid now. Disabled "Windows Update" via command line services.msc. months ago (rarely use Vista). Figured, oh, I'll just turn it back on when I use autopatcher.

Months and many dead brain cells later, here we are. Sorry to waste your time.
