I reported this to Antonis. Unsure when this will be addressed though...

OK, so I know where to get the latest autopatcher updaters, but I'm a complete newbie. Where do I get the latest core release? Do I have to wait for the download page to come back?

The "core" and "update" releases were replaced with apup.exe: a download manager which gets any updates that you don't already have, or gets them all if you don't have any.

Yes, just choose the polish version(s) when you run apup.exe

@Idiot - What version of Windows are you running? When I look up this Rapport Device Management v4, this typically is installed with Compaq computers. Are you running a compaq image?
Sorry for the delay in responding.

No, the computer is custom built. This is on a Windows XP Pro computer with SP2 installed.
I am downloading a fresh copy of everything now.

I found the problem. It was some ######-wipe software that had been installed. Turns out the box had to be formated and reloaded.

Maybe I am getting ahead of the game, are there any other command-line switches for apup.exe other than /log. I would like to be able to run apup.exe as a scheduled task to keep it automatically updated.

Also, can you tell apup.exe to select certain OSs or versions of Office each time?

Once again, great program. It's very nice to be able to update at lan speed rather than over T1.

I downloaded Apup at the announcement thread:
http://www.autopatch...hp?showtopic=89

I started it and I downloaded all Windows XP pack. At the end, Apup reported me this warning:

"One or more files failed verification. Would you like to continue at your risk?"

I tied downloading 3 times on different PC's, but I still got the same message. What's going on?

This is intentional, I believe, because APUP is still in beta.

Well that would be fine, except most of the updates refused to install. (Or at least they failed and no warning was given that they had).

So I'm sure that isn't normal.

I tried to run APUP to get this month's updates and some files failed to verify. After a couple of failed attempts, I downloaded APUP again in a new folder and started all of the downloads from the start. Everything downloaded promptly with no failed verifications. Again, mush thanks to the Autopatcher team for a great application!

I could not find how to delete this duplicate post where I quote myself.

Does APUP run on Vista? When I try to update just APUP, the engine, & Windows XP it freezes on the first download. It also freezes temporarily before then but doesn't seem to recover when downloading hotfixes.

When I run APUP Vista's User Account Control asks for admin username & password. So I had thought that was what I was doing but maybe I need to do it another way?
