I have read the other topic on apup errors and done that but the errors continue. I list them below:

Hi sapna1999,

Thanks for the report.

As you will see from the AutoPatcher Addon & Extras Module Depot forum, a new version of Adobe Flash Player has just been released, but the AutoPatcher Extras has not yet been updated to match. This will be corrected in the next day or two.

The Subscript out of Range error is difficult to pin down. It would have been better if you had posted the actual APUP log-file, because there is other information in it which will help us to diagnose this. We need to know at least your exact language settings and the exact combination of releases selected as well as the exact order that events are occurring.

For the other errors, I will have to investigate further.

The Subscript out of Range error is due to a miscalculation in the download queue, probably caused by a missing file.

The Permission denied error is because you have changed the permissions on a file and so APUP cannot delete an old file that is out of date. If APUP cannot delete the old file, it will not be able to update it or replace it with the new file.

I really need to see the complete APUP log-file (NOT the AutoPatcher log-file) because one of the errors you have posted does not make sense.

Strange though the error on the mu_site.cab is not shown. Is it possible that after the first error the log has stopped recording?

Here is the apup.log

Thank you for posting the log-file and for the further information you have provided.

I am now fairly sure that all of your problems are caused by the new version of Flash (Flash 10) released by Adobe. The Extras script is not yet updated and is still trying to download Flash 9. (3 files)

I am also fairly sure that the reference to muweb_site.cab that you saw on screen is a display problem in APUP, not a problem with the download. When files cannot be downloaded, and the "One or more files has failed verification. ... " screen message appears, APUP may not display the correct file on-screen.

When APUP is updated to download Flash 10, an announcement will be made in the AutoPatcher Addon & Extras Module Depot.

Thinking over the weekend and the number of hours spent trying to complete the download and the difficulty in getting a stable download link or the availability of an msi version only or something like that, may I propose that:
Until the real problems are ironed out, amend the script to test the availability of v10; if it is not available; then download the flash player v9 and install it, and display a message to the user when the system has been patched about the flash player version issue and if the user is dying to use v10 immediately he can do so by going to the adobe's website.

This will allow autopatcher to update the rest of the system keeping it secure with rest of the latest updates.

that's the problem: just after a new version is released by adobe, they remove the previews version from his webiste, breaking the script

Thanks Autopatcher TEAM! Thank You! Its certainly welldone.

Now Autopatcher works like poetry! Man it flows like that lass in Dr. No, walking on the beach or 1000 Years BC, wandering around just looking pretty.

Note: For some reason when it finishes whatever it is doing, it says finished in the top bar and the click button at the bottom right is highlighted in GUI, but in the downloading progress total bar it still shows as if the downloading is not finished. There is a difference in the values of MB to be downloaded and actually downloaded.

That's a problem with updating the screen, which we will try to fix in the next release of APUP.
