as adobe didn't released an full 9.3.1 version, the update was added into adobe reader pack, as critical. also, this module will show only if the user has adobe reader 9.3 and will be hidden for any other version of adobe reader

the adobe reader script was updated to replace the detections. the main 9.3 module didn't had an detection to 9.3.1 and, due that, it was showing as not installed after 9.3.1 be applied. also, the behavior of 9.3.1 was changed to not be hidden

I have 9.3.1 installed, ran APUP and it updated reader. Ran AutoPatcher and it showed Adobe 9.3 in blue. (Maybe it should be changed to 9.3.1?)

yep.

> Maybe it should be changed to 9.3.1?
i don't think so. that module is still 9.3 and only the update himself is 9.3.1. with booth having the same name, then it could mislead to an wrong interpretation. in that way, the user can see 9.3 installed and also 9.3.1, if it is applied and not 9.3.1 and not 9.3

Just a small point: I have Adobe updated to 9.3.2. Autopatcher does show Adobe 9.3 and 9.3.2 in blue, but shows 9.3.1 in black and checked. Surely that should at least be unchecked (I had installed 9.3.1 before 9.3.2, but the latter replaces the former in Add/remove, so presumably also in the install/uninstall info in the registry.

Just ran AutoPatcher to see what's going on as I installed the update to version 9.3.2 days ago. Anyway, all I get is Stand Alone > Adobe Reader 9.3 in black - no indication I have Adoeb Reader 9.3.2 installed. :(

i think that now this issue shall be solved. the solution was add into:
AdbeRdr930_en_US.apm the detections for 9.3.0 , 9.3.1 and 9.3.2
AdbeRdrUpd931_all_incr.apm the detections for 9.3.1 and 9.3.2 for 1033, 1040 and 1046 lcid
AdbeRdrUpd932_all_incr.apm the detection for 9.3.2 for 1033, 1040 and 1046 lcid only

Adobe Reader 9.3.3 is available as a standalone installer - size is 41K.

Update AutoPatcher and you can eliminate the patches, etc.

in fact, the 9.3.3 version is kinda bigger than 41K :P but no problem, i will check for viable links. at the main page, right now only the enu version is 9.3.3

ok, the enu script was updated to download the integrated version. just don't mix it with the other languages or yours may be forced to download the updates again and again, because the integrated version right now is valid only to deu, enu, esp, fra and jpn

Unfortunately, updating the Adobe 5 August leads to this:

I havve Adobe reader 9.3.3 (from updating 9.3.0 with the successive patches)

XP pro SP3

Sorry, just realised the attached pic is not clear that it is the en-US version that was downloaded.

I ran Apup again and it redownloaded the Adobe 9.3.3 despite the fact that it was already present in the D:\Apup\modules\stand_alone\AdbeRdr930_en_US.apm_files folder.

Made no difference to Autopatcher. Still two entries, both false.

Next I deleted all the files referring to stand alone (stand alone.apm, the Adobe rti files (there were two in the apup folder, presumably why there were two entries in Autopatcher) and the stand alone folder in modules. Ran Autopatcher and it is official, with no entry at all for Adobe reader, as expected.
Then ran apup to get the Adobe Reader 9.3.3 again. It downloaded the file,
but Autopatcher still shows Adobe Reader 9.3.3 in red as false. Only one entry this time, though (only one Abobe rti file).

do you have mixed 2 languages for adobe reader? due this merge of updates that adobe did for the enu version only, for sure at least one version will show as unofficial if mixed. but this one had an problem in the upload process (the file become oversized). i was thinking that i have solved this issue, but i will check again in 2 hours

thanks
