Looks as though Oracle are continuing to use the Binary Code License Agreement for Java SE before you can download the Runtimes.

It is funny, they force you to accept, yet they do not force you to read the agreement. In a commercial environment free is a four-letter word, perhaps.
Odd, they don't elaborate on termination method. Does this involve a pack of resistors? Odd are they're not going to send me the buxom blonde terminator; no, they'd be sedistic enough to send the g*y terminator, i'd bet. Okay, okay; i'll abide by the license. Uncle.
Additionally, i believe this provision to be 'invalid':

Java Runtime Revision 7 Update 5 is available for download.
http://java.com/en/d...oad/manual.jsp.
x86 can updated by using the online update or offline via manual download
There is no x64 update available online and are unable to find the offline either
A note from Java.com
Note: At this time, Online Installation and Java Update features are not available for 64-bit architectures. This means that you will not see an Update tab as part of the Java Control Panel. You can manually update Java on 64-bit Windows by running the latest Java 64-bit offline installer

I am curious as to why people would still use 6 if 7 is a phenomenal improvement as they say it is. I can agree that it(7) has a nice improvement in speed.

My comment wasn't meant for you, but the OP.
Anyway, it looks like pre-release software so for me, it's of no interest.
