Winmerge is a great tool, use it all the time. I mostly use it to compare .md5 files created on releases pre / post update, works
wonderfully. I'm not sure it would be as helpful when comparing dissimilar items ie; XP SP3 and Extras - too many differing files.

Sorry if you weren't responding to my post

They're Baaaaaaack! WGA that is.

It looks like the uploaded script has WGA added back in causing the release to fail. Removing the \wga folder makes the release Official.
BTW no .apm files are downloading - only WindowsXP-KB892130-ENU-x86.exe and WindowsXP-KB905474-ENU-x86.exe.

The Extras (03/14/2010) script...
Spoiler
So, if Extras is getting WGA back, the associated .apm files will need to be added back as well, otherwise, the WGA reference in File
Downloads needs to be removed.

I saw that, just a bump on my side in case Cristiano missed that post since he usually acknowledges with a short response when someone reports a new release. Yes, I realize he is busy and his PC is broken :)

ok guys, the extras package was updated with the new flash players and the new silverlight. but one warning: as adobe loves their users, they have changed the way to do an silent install and didn't any documentation (that isn't lovely?), nor an /? to help someone that wishes to do that. i did some tests and i think that i have found one (at least, worked for me), but please let me know if something related to the deployment of those or even if the uninstall feature doesn't work

Yes, I forgot to mention it. /S was replaced with -install and -uninstall.

hum... you have found the docs about it that i didn't found last night :)

i've also noticed an info about the uninstallers. right now, it's working like this:
%windir%\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil10h_ActiveX.exe -maintain activex

could be interesting change it to
%windir%\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil10h_ActiveX.exe -uninstall activex -force ?

It looks like NM33_x86.exe (Network Monitor) has been updated to NM34_x86.exe.

The old link errors out - Direct Link - NM33_x86.exe

Here is the new one - Direct Link - NM34_x86.exe

Thanks to Dave for reporting it Here!

it was, in deed. i'm unsure if the tests for this one are done already, but the update for this one breaks 3 updates for network monitor that add extra features for it. but no problem, i will add it tonight. last night i was really busy testing the hds that i've shipped to seagate asking for RMA. they have returned booth with an "non-defective" status. with one of them attached, the computer is unable to go beyond disk detection and the other one shutdown himself when you do intensive disk tasks. due that, i had to test booth again and prepare an arguing about the issue. according to their answer, i may or i may not sue them to make they honor their word about "warranty".

ok, the main network monitor 3.4 was added into the script, in x86 and x64 versions. right now, the remain parsers will not be added due an download issue with one of the download sources, but the modules and updates will be added into the main post when ready, to those that wish it

Has the MD5 hashes been updated?

I'm getting the fllowing:
Detection error for file F:\Autopatcher\XPSP3 - 2010-09-11\modules\AddOns\flashplayer_IE_files\install_flash_player_10_active_x.exe
MD5 Hashes do NOT match. Expecting C39575DEF97CBB679BD9D0367221B2C1, but found 754591b96b9e4dfc5dbf2136f8dfde87!!!
Item install_flash_player_active_x.exe failed detection or its parts.

Thanks

Flash has been updated recently... these are the figures I'm getting.

File: install_flash_player.exe (10.1.85.3)
Size: 2788816
Hash: D1E48D11B64D88A14BB4AAA6BFF2F01B

File: install_flash_player_10_active_x.exe (10.1.85.3)
Size: 2826192
Hash: C39575DEF97CBB679BD9D0367221B2C1

Btw, your error Classified looks like APUP is doing what it is supposed to do, it detected the old version (the hash matches the old version), it should delete it and download the new version. This is why I always say - run APUP at least twice, the second time will clean the log. When APUP detects old versions of anything it will write to the log file, many times this confuses the user, they think it is an error, it really is a message. If after 2 or 3 runs APUP is still producing the message this means an issue with the script, a bad link etc.
