Gentlemen,

I am running Windows 98SE and might be updating to Office XP Pro 2003. I have downloaded the 58 MB SP3

but want to get the latest patches to date. Is there an Autopatcher for me on this site? My search came up

empty.

Thanks in advance.

No, sorry.

AutoPatcher only supports Operating Systems that are still supported by Microsoft, which is Windows 2000 and later.
The current versions of APUP.exe and AutoPatcher.exe have never been tested on anything earlier so I do not know if they would even run. If they do run it should be possible to download the Office updates, but you will be on your own, I'm afraid, because we do not support Windows 98SE.

James, first thanks for the quick reply.

Second, is there any place where I can find an accurate list of

Office XP patches, that are Windows 98SE compatable, that have been

released since SP3 hit the net so I know what to hunt for on Micro$oft.com?

I want to have all of my ammunition downloaded and at my fingertips before I

start the Office XP install process.

I await your reply.

Bug_zs, you can found that list in here:
http://www.autopatcher.com/forums/index.ph...t=0&start=0

also james said, we don't know if apup or autopatcher will work under windows 98, but the updates for office xp are the same. even if you be unable to run apup or autopatcher.exe from win98, you still can run apup in a windows 2000/xp/vista machine to download all the updates and then copy the downloaded updates to an mobile media and install it in the win98 machine, even if you need do that by hand
