After fetching the required items by APUP I run the Autopatcher. Modules load nicely. But on item selection part, whatever I choose be it Critical, Recommended, Components. Autopatcher never recognizes my selection. It reads: Selected 0, 0 for uninstall, thus the "next" button is not highlighted - i can not install even critical!
What shall I do?
(Ps Also I have a problem fetching module wmp11 - it finds an error...)
Thank you

if all the required files are in place, the most probable issue that you may have is related to the path. autopatcher can't deal with some patchs too long, with spaces or with any sort of non-english character. but this is pretty simple to test: you just need move the entire folder to another location, like c:\apup and run from there.
about the issue that you have fetching wmp11 module, can you please run apup with /log and paste the log in here? thanks

Thank you for your immediate interest. Unfortunately it's not the path case. I tried C:\apup\ still the Autopatcher does not recognize even one selected item... Please kindly help me use the desired Autopatcher!

Hi KKd,
I can see the problem now that you have posted the log-file. You have the Polish version of Windows XP, but you are downloading updates for the English version of Windows XP (64-bit). These will not install on the Polish version -- they will only install on the English version. AutoPatcher checks the language of both the version of Windows it is running on and the language of the updates that have been downloaded. If they do not match, then Autopatcher will not allow selection or install. That is why you always see 0 selected, 0 to install.

your wmp11 file is ok. i've checked the download and the md5 matches with the one that you have found. i don't have any x64 machine to test the script or detection, but i can update the download link and i did it, so, you will no longer have this error. i'm not sure about the detection for the module, because also i said, i can't test it
thanks for your report

Thank you. The download works.
About language version - so I can not do anything with present language version of XP? I would have to switch to english version? Or maybe some older version would work?

no, it will not work. ms does his updates aiming some specific languages. so, even if we change your amp modules to allow them try to be installed in other languages, the update himself will deny it (except for a few ones).
the only one exception for this is vista, because ms just did an interface in other languages, but the system runs in english inside

So... I am going for MS update.. Right?
Thank you for help. Maybe I will switch to English XP, somehow I oversaw the fact that I don't have english XP... Nooo.... there must be some solution, isn't it?

Hey! But I am sure, that some time back there was a version of POLISH XP pack. How can I get to it?

There was -- but it was a long time ago. The last version was in July 2007, it was an old-style release and it is no longer available.

Can we contact polish autopatcher maintainer somehow? We would like to have a new polish autopatcher pack. Or perhaps it exists now? Would be great to have it.
